Jore 50th Anniversary
Rolf and Marilyn Jore of Caledonia will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family celebration on June 10 aboard the Julia Belle Swain. Hosts will be their five children, Kathryn (Gary) Rommes, Susan (Robert) Schneider, David (Lori) Jore, Carolyn (Kirk) Hankins, and Daniel (Katherine) Jore. They also have 13 grandchildren.
Dr. Rolf Jore and Marilyn Allmaras were married June 9, 1956, at Trinity Lutheran Chuch, La Crosse, WI by Pastor LaVern Hanson.
Mercer 50th Anniversary
Floyd and Lenora (Ledebuhr) Mercer of Houston will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, June 17 with an open house from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at Money Creek Methodist Church.
Floyd and Lenora were married June, 16, 1956 at Money Creek Methodist Church. They have three children, Kyle Mercer of Winona, Cindi VanLoon of La Crescent, and Jenell Vogel of Winona; and seven grandchildren. Floyd worked at Ace Communications for 36 years before retiring in 2001.
Bauer 60th Anniversary
Rosine (Stoltz) and Vince Bauer were married June 4, 1946 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Caledonia.
A family celebration and grill-out will be held at Vince and Rosine's country home.
Storlie 50th Anniversary
Owen and Janice Storlie of Spring Grove will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house on Saturday, June 10, from 1-4 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spring Grove, hosted by their children.
Owen and Janice (Hanson) were married June 9, 1956 at Big Canoe Lutheran Church.
