Bostone sentenced to year in jail, probation
Enrico ìA.J.î Bostone, 18, of Caledonia, was sentenced to 30 years probation and a year in jail on March 1 for his conviction of first degree criminal sexual conduct.
Judge James Fabian stayed a sentenced of 144 months with the Minnesota Department of Corrections. The judge based that on a positive report by an evaluator that Bostone was amenable to an outpatient counseling program.
Bostone must also register as a predatory offender.
He also received two years probation for conviction of furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Bostone will receive credit for 146 days already served in jail. He will also be granted weekend furlough privileges. He is currently in the Goodhue County Jail , and has a release date of June 4.
He pled guilty to the crimes on January 23 in Third District Court, after being charged in October. He molested a boy on two occasions in June of 2005. The boy was 12 the first time and 13 the second time, according to the criminal complaint.
OíBrien in court this week
Darrell Edward OíBrien, 18, Caledonia, will appear in court on March 14 at 8 a.m. on burglary charges.
He was charged on March 6 with burglary in the second degree, burglary in the third degree, felony theft, and misdemeanor theft. The charges are connected to a March 1 burglary in Caledonia Township.
OíBrien is currently in the Houston County Jail. Bail has been set at $40,000 unconditional and $20,000 conditional.
He also has pending felony charges in La Crosse Wisconsin for a bomb scare and disorderly conduct. His trial there is set for March 29.
Daley sentenced
Ryan L. Daley, 24, Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced on March 1 to two years in Wisconsin state prison for his conviction of reckless homicide.
The sentencing was done in Wisconsin Circuit Court in Dane County, Wisconsin. He pled guilty on November 22.
The former Caledonia man bought heroin that killed Sarah Stellner, 20, in Madison on April 26. Three other people also pled guilty in the case.
