Nathan Karl Holter
Nathan Karl Holter, 39, of Houston, died March 16, 2006 in Caledonia.
He was born February 4, 1967 in Grand Forks, ND, third of three children born to Gordon and Judith (Elveru) Holter. He grew up on a family farm and graduated from Houston High School. Nathan was employed in Construction work. He owned Holter Construction and was employed by Asbesbrgon.
He married Julianna Palubicki of La Crescent in 1988. They were later divorced. He married Shelia Vix of rural Houston in 1993. Nathan enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Shelia of Caledonia; three children, Shyann and Brody of Caledonia and Amber of Holmen, WI; parents Gordon and Judith of rural Houston; sister, Teri of Maui, HI; brother, Layne of Crystal Lake, IL; paternal grandparents, Selmer and Lois (Shapansky) Holter of Foley, MN; maternal grandmother, Olga (Johnson) Elveru of Bradenton, FL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Hoff Funeral Homes ñ Houston Chapel. Burial will be in the Oakridge Cemetery in Houston. Friends may call at Hoff Funeral Homes ñ Houston Chapel on Monday from 4-8 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. The family suggests that in leu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Nathan K. Holter Memorial Fund, for his children, at Security State Bank in Hokah.
