Dawn Rostad Burmester
Dawn Robin Rostad Burmester, 48, of Spring Grove died March 2, 2006 at the home of her parents after a short battle with cancer.
She was born November 21, 1957 at the Military Army Hospital in Fort Huachuca, AZ, to Carlyn and Joycelyn (Rud) Rostad.
She was a 1975 Spring Grove High School graduate and the 1975 Spring Grove Syttende Mai Queen.
She married Donny Burmester in 1975, they later divorced.
She attended cosmetology school, and later real estate school to become a real estate agent.
She lived in Phoenix, AZ and San Diego, CA before moving back to Spring Grove in 1989.
Survivors include her parents Carlyn and Joycelyn Rostad of Spring Grove; four sons, Chad (Kelly) Burmester of Rochester, Travis Rostad of La Crosse, Tony and Keenan Rostad Siminski at home; a daughter, Misti Burmester of Caledonia; two granddaughters; her sister Lynn (Andy) Rostad Anderson; a nephew; her partner of many years Tony Siminski and many dear family members in California and Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gilman and Tinka Rud and Carl and Ruth Rostad.
Private family memorial services and internment of the cremains will be at a later date. Pastor Zane Anderson will officiate. There was a public visitation on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Roble Funeral Service in Spring Grove.
