A son, Russell Owen, was born to Justin and Connie Thies of Caledonia, on Sunday, April 30, 2006 at 6:54 a.m. He weighed 7 lbs, 12 ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Jerry and Nancy Diersen of Caledonia. Paternal grandparents are Ginnie and Tom Wiechert of Money Creek and Larry and Monty Thies of Erie IL. Great-grandparents are Elaine Wilhelm and Artis Gaustad.
