Rebecca Rae Robson
Rebecca Rae Robson, 48, of Onalaska, WI, died at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, after a short battle with breast cancer.
She was born in Viroqua, WI, on September 19, 1957 to Bob and Sally (Graham) Robson. She graduated from Caledonia High School in 1975 and married Alan Brinkman on September 30, 1978. They later divorced.
Rebecca had worked at the Trane Federal Credit Union for 25 years. She later worked for First Federal of La Crosse, and most recently had worked for Advantage Credit Union of La Crosse as the Branch Manager. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crafting and will always be remembered for her quick wit and laughter.
Survivors include her father and stepmother Bob and Angela Robson of Stillwater, MN; a daughter Erin (Joey) Arneson of Trempealeau, WI; a son, Ryan Brinkman of Onalaska; a brother, David (Lynn) Robson of Hudson, WI; one sister, Roberta (Bill) Schult of Prior Lake, MN; a very special friend, Jack Peplinski of Onalaska; several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 26 at First Lutheran Church in Onalaska. Pastor Thomas Hillertz will officiate. Burial will be in the Liberty Pole Cemetery rural Viroqua, friends may call at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Kommen Breast Cancer Foudation.
The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of Onalaska is assisting the family.
