Tom Lewis
Tom Lewis, 55, of La Crescent, died unexpectedly at his cabin in on Saturday, November 18, 2006.
Tom was born December 26, 1950 to James Harvey and Patricia Fern (Sporer) Lewis in St. Paul, MN.
Tom has been the American Family agent for the La Crescent area since 1974. He was a past chairman of Ducks Unlimited and an Apple Fest board member. He was a lifetime member of the Gopher States Sportsmenís Club, the Pepin Sportmenís Club and the La Crescent Chamber of Commerce.
Tom is survived by his wife of 34 years, Kathy, two daughters, Jessica (friend Tony); Alicia (Sean) Duncan; and a sister Anne (Chuck) Thorkildson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Patricia.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 22, at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, La Crescent. Pastor Jim Arends will officiate. Family and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorials given in his memory are appreciated.
The Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home of La Crescent is in charge of services.
