Elaine Krugmire-Tighe
Elaine Krugmire-Tighe, 55, of St. James, MN, and formerly of Sheldon township, Houston County, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at Immanuel-St. Josephís Hospital, Mankato.
Elaine was born May 10, 1951, in La Crosse, WI, to Ivan and Eleanor (Schech) Krugmire. She graduated from Houston High School in 1969 and then attended the University of Minnesota and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stout in Menomonie.
Elaine was an Extension Agent in Watonwan County during the 1980ís. On August 18, 1984, she married Jim Tighe in Houston. They made their home in St. James, MN, and were engaged in farming in Rosendale township.
Survivors include her husband, Jim of St. James; brother, Edward (Jonie) Krugmire, Afton, MN; sisters-in-law, Kathyİ(Roger) Richİof St. Paul, Marilynİ(Floyd) Melin of Richville, MN, and Pat andİTerry Poss of Fridley, MN; brother-in-law, Bob (Kathy) Tigheİof Morristown, MN; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; uncle and aunt.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 25, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Caledonia United Methodist Church. Rev. Mark Bengtson will officiate. Burial will be at the Krugmire family cemetery at Schechís Mill in Sheldon. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
