Lorraine Chappie
Lorraine Miller Chappie, age 80, died Monday, October 30, 2006 in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born and raised in Melrose, MN to Leo and Isabella (Salchert) Miller. The family later moved to Caledonia, MN where her father was employed as Executive Director of Houston County Welfare. She moved to Dayton, OH where she was employed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She married Robert Chappie.
In addition to her husband, she was proceeded in death by her daughter, Christine, and brothers, David and Tom.
She is survived by four daughters, Judith (Ronald) Toht, TX, Karen (John) Bodey, IN, Carol Chappie, OH, Deborah (Mark) Rigg, OH; one son, Richard (Reneí), AL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Walter Powers, Kettering, OH, Millie and Jim Boling, Grand Junction, CO; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Alice Miller, Caledonia, Donald and Rita Miller, Belton, MO, nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, November 3, 2006 at Holy Trinity Church in Ohio.
