ìFor this game, one of their goals was scored on their own, which makes the loss easier to accept,î said Caledonia coach Sue Link. ìI stressed in practice that we shouldnít take any chances in the box to risk a penalty kick, but every time a La Crescent player would fall, the referee would award them a free kick. It was frustrating, but there is a life lesson that in that some things in life are out of our control.î
