VOLLEYBALL: Caledonia 3, St. Charles 0
The Warriors met St. Charles in Winona on Thursday, October 26 for their first match in the sub-section volleyball tournament. Caledonia easily defeated the Saints in three games with scores of 25-16, 25-10, and 25-14.
Caledonia 3, Rushford-Petersen 0
Coach Koepke said that the teamís match with Rushford-Peterson at Mayo Civic Center on Saturday, October 28 was the first any of these girls had ever played at the arena in Rochester. There were no jitters as the Warriors downed R-P in three straight games with scores of 25-16, 25-18 and 25-12.
Next: The Warriors will face Wabasha-Kellogg for the sub-section championship match Thursday, November 2 at Mayo Civic at 6:00 p.m. Caledonia defeated W-K the first time ever for any Caledonia team last week in Wabasha. ìW-K will be very ready for us,î said Koepke. ìWeíre going to go into the gym this week and continue to try to get better and go up there Thursday and work as hard as we can.î
