FOOTBALL: Caledonia countered Mother Nature and Fillmore Centralís pass defense in its 20-15 victory in Harmony on September 29.
The Warriorsí potent passing game netted just 39 yards thanks to a good 4-3 Falcon defense, and some heavy rain showers.
But the rushing game countered that. Andrell Hudson bruised out 141 yards on 28 carries, including the game winner from four yards out in the third quarter. Zach Gran ran for 96 yards on 17 carries.

BOYS SOCCER: Two of the best boys soccer teams in the area fought to a standstill on September 30 when Caledonia and Onalaska tied 0-0.
The tie followed two Caledonia wins last week, 4-0 over Winona Cotter on September 25 and 3-2 over West Salem on September 29, both at home.

GIRLS SOCCER: The girlsí soccer team had two wins and a tie last week as its regular season nears the end.
The tie came against Cotter on Monday, September 25, with both team scoring a single goal.
CHS 3, D-E 1
In its third meeting against Dover-Eyota, the girls came away with a 3-1 win. Goalie Arie Albert had 4 saves, and the D-E goalie had 14. Sarah Colleran and Ellen Klug took shots at every opportunity, and Kayla McCormick and Sara Kasten also shot quite a bit, said Link.
CHS 7, St. Charles 0
On Thursday night, the girls shut out St. Charles 7-0. Kayla McCormick had three goals, one assisted by Whitney Frank and one by Ellen Klug; Whitney Frank had two goals, one assisted by Sarah Colleran; and Theresa Ellenz and Cassy Messner both scored goals unassisted. Goalie Arie Albert had four saves.

VOLLEYBALL: The Caledonia Warrior volleyball team met Fillmore Central in Harmony on Tuesday, September 26, taking them down in five games, 23-25, 25-12, 25-18, 21-25 and 15-12.
Coach Scott Koepke said that his team played very hard and kept their composure very well during many tight spots during the match.
