Warrior boys win two, lose two during busy week
GHS 7 CHS 5
After winning their first two games of the season, the Warriors suffered their first lost of the season on April 16 when they lost to visiting Goodhue 7-5.
WK 10 CHS 7
The following afternoon, the Warriors traveled to Wabasha to battle the Wabasha-Kellogg Eagles. The host team dropped the Warriors 10-7.
CHS 5 DE 3
The Warriors picked up their third win of the season when they topped Dover-Eyota 5-3.
After giving up one run in the top of the first, CHS scored four runs in the bottom of the inning to take a 4-1 lead. Schmitz started things off with a triple, Tyler Augedahl was walked and Scholze plated both runners with a double. Hanson doubled to score Scholze, and Hanson scored on a fielderís choice.
CHS 6 KGMLO 5
The Warriors improved their record to 4-2 Friday afternoon when they topped visiting Kingsland/Grand Meadow/LeRoy-Ostrander 6-5.
