Houston County submit's $9 million damage report to FEMA

Houston County's Damage & Impact Assessment form submitted to FEMA included
approximately $8,900,000 in estimated damage to county roads and bridges.

FEMA ASSISTANCE:

Citizens of Houston, Fillmore and Winona counties can now file applications with
FEMA over the phone at 1-800-621-FEMA.

FLOOD VICTIM ASSISTANCE & VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR:

WEEKEND HOURS

Houston County has established a center for Houston County flood victims and for
those willing to assist flood victims.

The center is located in the Caledonia City Hall Council Chambers at 231 East
Main St., and will be accessible:

Saturday - Sunday 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Flood victims needing assistance or volunteers willing to help with flood damage
clean-up, may stop in or call 507-725-2799.


DEBRIS DISPOSAL:

All Houston County recycling drop-off sites will be open this Saturday from 8:00
AM until 3:00 PM.
