Monday morning rains close Houston County roads
Due to Monday morning's torrential rains (up to four inches reported in west-central Houston County) the Houston County Highway Department has issued the following road status as of 9 a.m., August 27, 2007:
ïState Highway 26 by Reno is partially under water.
ïChisholm Valley road has water over it by Highway 16 and is impassable.
ïMuhle Coulee Road is Impassable.
ïWinnegago Road, possibly impassable.
ïCounty Road 4 is closed in several places due to high water.
ïCounty Road 5 is closed due to a rock slide.
