With 29 returning letter winners from last yearís team, which posted an 8-3 record, Warrior head coach Carl Fruechte is looking for another successful campaign this fall.

The Warriors, who finished the Three Rivers Conference-South with a 3-2 record, will be senior-dominated, with 15 seniors returning for their final year. Letter winners include:

ïSeniors Kody Moore-quarterback, Lee Burg cornerback/wide receiver, Dustin King- wide receiver/linebacker, Tyle Stemper- wide receiver/safety, Zach Gran- cornerback/tailback, Mitch Meiners- Offensive/defensive lineman, Pat Bolduan- fullback/linebacker, Cody Petersen- tailback/cornerback, Adam Schulte- offensive/defensive lineman, Kevin Pohlman- offensive/defensive lineman, Blake Knutson- offensive/defensive lineman, Dan Muenkel- offensive/defensive lineman, Joe Macejik- offensive/defensive lineman, Kevin Voight- offensive/defensive tackle, and Aleksander Lorentzen- offensive/defensive tackle.

ïJuniors Casey Bauer- quarterback/linebacker, Andy Bauer- wide receiver/safety, Ryan Goetzinger- fullback/linebacker, Eddie Hodges- defensive//offensive end, Matt Mitchell- offensive/defensive lineman, Jesse Christian-offensive/defensive lineman, Chris Myhre- offensive/defensive lineman, Cullen Becker- offensive/defensive lineman, Brandon Rask- offensive/defensive lineman, Alex Schleich- tailback/linebacker, Phil Schulze- wide receiver/cornerback, and Sam Costigan- wide receiver/safety.

ïSophomores Troy Frank- tight end/defensive end, and Isaac Fruechte- tailback/linebacker.

Fruechte feels defending state champion Rushford-Peterson will once again be the team to beat in the TRC-South, along with Chatfield and Southland.

The Warrior head coach said team speed is one of the strengths this season, while lack of size is a weakness. Having a strong core group of seniors to provide leadership is a big plus.

The Warriors open the season this Friday night when they host Plainview-Elgin-Millville.
