She doubled her season average and led the Lady Warriors to a win over Plainview/Elgin-Millville, 74-63 in front of their home court fans.
Cassie Gran scored 28 points to lead all scorers on the night.
Gran scored a career high point total, double her current average of 14 ppg. She made 10-of-13 free throws on the night.
She also got some assistance from her running mates.
Megan King scored 12 points; Libby Augedahl added 16 points for a solid night.
The game was close at the half, as Caledonia led 34, PEM 32.
In the second half, the Warriors used a menacing defense to open up a comfortable margin.
They also made the gimme shots at the charity stripe.
As a team stats, the Warriors made 26 of 41 free-throws, and also scored two 3-pointers.
The juniors on the team are really doing a nice job of contributing and the result is a solid overall record with just one loss on the season.
Gran improved on her point total from last week's game and each game junior guard Laquita Becker is also stepping up nicely.
Add King and Augedahl's performances and the juniors on the squad make up a nice nucleus of players for the Warriors night in and night out.
Results from the Dec. 21 Rushford Peterson game will be featured in next week's edition of The Argus. Due to the holiday, The Argus went to press early.
Gran added 10 boards and five steals as well.
Augedahl and Brianna Vick had seven and eight rebounds respectively.
