Mary Ellen Marnach
Mary Ellen Marnach of Caledonia, died December 23, 2007.
She was born on November 17, 1922 in Forest Lake, to Henry and Ellen (Graf) Albert. She graduated from Loretto H. S. in 1942. She married Vernon (Bud) Marnach on Sept. 4, 1944.
She is survived by her 10 children: Susan Austin, John (Kayla) Marnach, Joan (David) Aponte, Tom (Diana) Marnach, Jean (Patrick) Becker, Greg (Lorinda) Marnach, Ellen (Brian) Greenlund, Mark (Norm) Marnach, Marcia (Steve) Bauer, Becky (Carl) Fruechte. Also 25 grandchildren (plus one inherited grandchild), 16 great-grandchildren, two brothers.
She was preceded in death by, two sisters, Alice Jackson and Doris Joyce and her beloved husband Bud.
After graduation from high school, she joined the Navy Waves where she worked in a hospital alongside the nurses caring for the Navy officers.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 26, from 4 to 7pm at St. Mary's Holy Family Hall in Caledonia. On Thursday, December 27, visitation will be from 10 to 11am, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at St. Mary's Church.
McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be given to St. Mary's School.
