Francis Ramlo
Francis Luella Ramlo, 91, of Spring Grove, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007 at Tweeten Health Services in Spring Grove, Minn.
Francis was born January 22, 1916, to Albert and Julia (Storlie) Lien. She was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. She attended elementary school at the Newhouse School and received her LPN certificate in Mankato in 1942.
She married James Ramlo Dec. 23, 1932 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. She worked as a nurse in the Spring Grove Hospital and cared for patients in their homes. Francis wrote poetry, documented family history and was a member of the Sons of Norway in Spring Grove.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ramlo; three brothers: Luther Lien, Norton Lien and Harris Lien; and sister Alvina Tollefsrud.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-6 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.
