Harry A. Wagner
Harry A. Wagner, 80, of Spring Grove, died Thursday, Feb. 1, at Tweeten Health Services in Spring Grove.
Harry was born on June 3, 1926 in Buffalo County, Wis., to George and Olga (Olson) Wagner. He was a resident of Spring Grove for the past forty years. He had also lived in Rushford and Tracy, Minn.
Harry served in the U.S. Marine Corps. On Dec. 14, 1957 he married Valerie Paulson. Harry worked for Title Atlas Company and Peopleís Natural Gas Company, and retired in 1987.
He was a member of the Spring Grove American Legion Post #249.
Harry is survived by his wife Valerie; his children, Donna (Mike) Tweeten, Dianne (Steven) Morrison, and Dionne (Robert) Schoh; five grandchildren; brothers Ernest, William, Lawrence, Leonard, and Irvin; and sisters Edna, Irene, and Elaine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Emil, Lloyd, and Melvin and his sister Hazel.
Visitation for Harry was held on Sunday Feb. 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove, with a prayer service being held from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.
Pastor Zane Anderson officiated at the prayer service. Harryís body was cremated; his cremains will be buried at a later date.
