Arnold Klug

Arnold William Klug, 85 of Caledonia, died Friday, Feb. 16, at Caledonia Care and Rehab in Caledonia.

He was born Aug. 7, 1921 in Caledonia Township to Simon and Elizabeth (Thillen) Klug. He served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a lifelong farmer on the family farm west of Caledonia and was a member of St. Maryís Catholic Church and VFW Post 3833 in Caledonia.

He is survived by a sister Bernadette Teff of Dorchester, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters: Helen and Dorothy Klug and Ethel Johnson; and two brothers: Julius and Leo Klug.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, Feb. 20 at St. Maryís Catholic Church. Father Gregory Leif will officiate and burial with military honors will be at Calvary Cemetery in Caledonia. Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church before the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia is assisting the family with arrangements.
