Dorma Steinfeldt
Dorma M. Steinfeldt, 85, of Houston died on Monday, Feb. 19, at Community Memorial Hospital in Winona.
Dorma was born on Jan. 30, 1922, in South Ridge, Minn., to George and Gusta (Burrows) Smith. She grew up in South Ridge. On June 14, 1940, she married Emil Steinfeldt. Dorma and Emil farmed in the Ridgeway area for many years until moving to Houston in the early 1990s.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and her good friend Mary Botcher of Houston.
Dorma was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, and two sisters.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston with the Rev. Louise Stromberg officiating. Burial will be in the Money Creek Cemetery in Money Creek. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Hoff Funeral Homes, Houston Chapel, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
