Michael Crawford
Michael Clay Crawford, 58, of Caledonia died Tuesday, Feb. 20 at his home.
He was born Dec. 29, 1948 in Adrian, Mich., to James and Gladys (Richardson) Crawford.
Mike graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary High School in Saginaw, Mich; Northwestern College in Watertown, Wis.; and from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wis. He married Joan Neitzel on June 3, 1972 in Watertown. He served the ministry in parishes in Brainerd, Minn.; Baltimore; Fond du Lac, Wis. and Caledonia.
Mike is survived by his wife, Joan of Caledonia; their eight children, Jennifer (Jon) Vote of Montello, Wis.; Katherine (Justin) Oeftger of Madison, Wis.; Joel (Carissa Morgan) of Madison; Sarah (Brad) Crawford Rask of Stoughton, Wis.; Nicholas Crawford of Minneapolis; Julia Crawford of Madison and Eliza and Micah Crawford of Caledonia; two grandsons; his mother, Gladys Crawford of Yuma, Ariz.; and a sister, Bonnie Crawford of Yuma.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Caledonia. Pastor Doug Hartley will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
McCormick Funeral Home, in Caledonia is assisting the family with arrangements.
