Delaine Scheck
Delaine B. Scheck, 62, of Houston, died Tuesday, January 9 at Gundersen - Lutheran Medical Center in LaCrosse.
Delaine was born on March 3, 1944, in La Crosse, to Walter and Louise (Lassen) Gady. She was raised in Nodine, MN. On September 21, 1963, she married Ronald Scheck at St. Johnís Lutheran Church at Nodine.
She is survived by her husband: Ronald; seven children: Deborah Frye of Caledonia; Connie Scheck; Eric (Jennifer) Scheck; Vicki (Randy) Hongerholt; Darron (Teresa) Scheck; Becky (Richard) Carr; and Travis (Nicole) Scheck, all of Houston; 22 grandchildren; one brother: Marlin (Anita) Gady of Dakota, MN; three sisters: Marlene Bahler; Irene (Ken) Boldt; and Sharon (Jerome) Unnasch, all of Houston, one brother-in-law: John Rossin of Winona; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Carol Rossin.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, at St. Johnís Lutheran Church of Nodine, with the Rev. Dennis Harbach officiating. Burial will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery at South Ridge. Friends may call from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, at Hoff Funeral Homes - Houston Chapel and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
The family prefers memorials to be directed to the St. Johnís Lutheran Church of Nodine.
