Dorothy Bouquet
Dorothy L. Bouquet, 93, of Wabasha died Sunday afternoon, January 7, 2007 at St. Elizabethís Medical Center in Wabasha.
She was born October 26, 1913 in Wabasha, the daughter of Frank and Lillian (Weir) Miller. She graduated from St. Felix High School in 1931. She married Dr. Bertram J. Bouquet June 7, 1939 at St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha. He died May 9, 1979. Dorothy was a life long resident of Wabasha.
She was a member of St. Felix Catholic Church and active in its Council of Catholic Women. She was an active member and past president of St. Elizabethís Hospital Auxiliary.
Dorothy is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Jim (Jan) Bouquet, Rochester, MN, Rich (Karen) Bouquet, Lake City, MN, Tom (Carol) Bouquet, Wabasha, John (Marcia) Bouquet, Rochester, Bernie (Sue) Bouquet, Rochester; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Her husband, and two brothers, Bernard and Richard Miller, preceded her in death.
A funeral Mass was offered on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at St. Felix Catholic Church in Wabasha with the Reverend William Kulas officiating. Interment was in St. Felix Cemetery.
The family prefers memorials to St. Elizabethís Medical Center Foundation or to St. Felix School.
The Abbott Funeral Home of Wabasha is in charge of arrangements.
