Marilyn Heintz
Marilyn R. Heintz, 78, of Caledonia, died Sunday, December 31, 2006 at her home.
She was born September 29, 1928 in Caledonia to Elbert and Bernice (Franklin) Whitlock.
Marilyn was a 1946 graduate of Loretto High School in Caledonia. On May 28, 1949, she married Melvin J. Heintz at the Presbyterian Church Manse in Caledonia and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2001. Marilyn is a former of member of the Presbyterian Church in Caledonia where she taught bible school.
Survivors include four children:Diana (Duane) Peterson of Waterville, MN; Debra (Jeff) Swenson of Winona; Darrell (Janice) Heintz of La Crescent; and Dawn Sultze of Caledonia; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Ralph, Harold, Glenn, and Elsworth Whitlock.
Funeral services will be Saturday,ÝJanuary 6, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Caledonia United Methodist Church in Caledonia. Rev. Mark Bengtson will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
