CHS 7 SHS 6
The Warriors traveled to Adams to battle the Southland Rebels on Monday, May 14, and returned home with a hard-fought 7-6 win.
Caledonia scored once in each of the first four innings, while holding the Rebs to just one run for a 4-1 lead. The visitors scored twice more in the top of the fifth for a 6-1 lead, but Southland countered with two in the bottom of the fifth, to narrow the CHS lead to 6-3.
Caledonia scored an insurance run in the top of the seventh to pull ahead 7-3, which was fortunate, as the Rebs mounted a rally in the final inning, scoring three runs. But it was too little too late, as the Warriors got the final out with runners on first and second for the 7-6 win.
The Warriors were limited to eight hits. Kaleb Schmitz was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored; Tyler Augedahl was 2 for 4 with an RBI, Alex Scholze was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and an RBI; and Nate Klug was 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs.

Warriors 7 CHS 6
The CHS nine won their final Three Rivers Conference game of the season when they topped visiting Chatfield 7-6 last Thursday.
After spotting the Gophers four runs in the second inning, the Warriors scored two in the bottom of the third to pull within two, 4-2.
CHS scored five more in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead 7-4. The Gophers threatened in the seventh, when they scored two runs and had runners on second and third. But the CHS defense was able to put out the fire for the one run win.
Although the Warriors only mustered five hits in the game, they came at the right times. Jake Hanson was 1 for 3 with 1 run scored and 2 RBI; Alex Klug was 1 for 3 with 1 run scored; Nate Kluug was 1 for 2 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI, Isaac Schiltz was 1 for 2 with 1 run scored and 2 RBIs; and Pat Bolduan was 1 for 2 with 1 run scored and 2 RBIs.
Bobby Augedahl picked up the win, pitching the first five innings. He gave up 3 earned runs, on 6 hits, walked 2, hit 2 batters, and struck out 1. Goetzinger pitched the final two innings, giving up 2 earned runs on five hits,, and walked 1.
LCHS 5 CHS 2
The Warriors finished out the regular season last Friday with a non-conference loss to neighboring La Crescent.
The Lancers scored first blood in the bottom of the first with one run. The Warriors tied the game up in the top of the fourth with a run on a single by Hanson and a double by Alex Klug.
The Lancers scored four in the bottom of the fifth on four hits and a CHS error for a 5-1 lead.
The Warriors scored once more in the sixth to make it a 5-2 game. But the Lancersí pitchers were able to snuff out the Warrior rally for the 5-2 win.
The game was a pitchersí battle with only nine hits banged out between the two teams. Alex Klug led the Warriors going 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs. Hanson was 1 for 3 with an RBI; Bobby Augedahl was 1 for 1; and Balduan was 1 for 3.
Alex Klug was the losing pitcher. He gave up 5 earned runs on 4 hits, did not walk a Lancer batter and struck out 5.
