Lucille Simon
Lucille B. Simon, 88 of Freeburg, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at Caledonia Care and Rehab in Caledonia.
She was born March 6, 1919 in Freeburg to George and Margaret (Theobald) Tony. She married Rudy Simon June 12, 1950 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freeburg. He preceded her in death May 15, 1989.
Lucille is survived by a son Terry (Connie) Simon, Brownsville; a daughter, Mary Ellen (Ken) Connor of Blair, Wis.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters and a brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, Nov. 14 at St. Maryís Catholic Church, Caledonia. Father Gregory Leif and Msgr Edward Lechtenberg will concelebrate.
Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freeburg. Friends and family may call from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCormick Funeral Home, 205 East Main St. Caledonia, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Visitation is also one hour prior to the service at the church Wednesday.
