Vila Shell
Vila K. Shell, 74, died following a long battle with cancer.
Vila Kathleen Kabat was born in La Crosse, Wis. on February 14, 1933. She married George Martin. Together they raised five children.
Vila is survived by her sons: George Martin, Jr., Denver, Colo.; Shawn (Shelby) Martin, Houston, Minn.; Chris (Tammy) Martin, Mebane, N.C.; and Mary (Fred) Beitz, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Jackie and Georgene.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; a daughter Coreene; a grandson Daniel; and by two sisters and one brother.
Private family services have been scheduled.
Hoff Funeral Homes ñ Houston Chapel is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
