Francis H. Grau
Francis H. Grau, 87, of Brownsville, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at his home. He was born April 28, 1920 in Brownsville to Gotthielf and Helen (Lieser) Grau. He served in the U.S. Air Corps during WWII and was a farmer for 48 years near Brownsville. He married Benilde Ruelas February 2, 1997 at St. Patrickís Catholic Church, Brownsville, she preceded him in death July 14, 2005.
He is survived by his brother, Norbert of Brownsville. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph.
A mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am Thursday, October 11, at St. Patrickís Catholic Church, Brownsville. Father Gregory Leif will officiate and burial will be in St. Patrickís Cemetery, Brownsville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church Thursday. McCormick Funeral Home, Caledonia is assisting the family with arrangements.
