Boys, girls soccer teams advance, girls host Byron Tuesday, boys travel to Lourdes Tuesday
The Caledonia girls and boys soccer teams both advanced in the Section 1-A tournaments. The girls topped Dover-Eyota 6-0 and will host Byron Tuesday, Oct. 16 at 5 p.m.. The number-5 seeded boys topped number-4 seeded La Crescent 2-1 in overtime, and will travel to Rochester Tuesday to take on the Lourdes Eagles, who are the top seeded team in the section and third-ranked team in the state. The boys game starts at 4:30 p.m.
