Warrior girls advance to Section 1A championship game, play Lancers Thursday
The Caledonia girls soccer team battled its way to the Section 1A championship game and is one win away from advancing to the state tournament. The number-two seeded Warriors beat number-three seeded Byron 2-1 in overtime Tuesday evening in Caledonia. The girls will now take on number-one seed La Crescent Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in La Crescent.
