CHS assistant coach Laurie Conway was named Section 1A Assistant Coach of the Year. The vote was held by section coaches.

"Laurie has been my assistant coach for nine years," head coach Sue Link said. The teamís record during that span has been 120 wins, 42 losses, and six ties.

"Laurie strives to maintain a quality program that rewards athletes for skills and commitment to excel.Ý

"I know Laurie as a dedicated and loyal coach with an ethic of hard work. I believe she truly cares about the players. There are so many ways Laurie has supported our team and myself in a number of capacities," Link said.Ý

Link complimented, "I feel she is the ideal assistant coach,"
