Donald L. Rudisuhle
Donald L. Rudisuhle, 70, of Caledonia, Minn., died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Caledonia Care & Rehab, Caledonia, Minn.
Donald was born January 25, 1937 in Union Township, rural Caledonia to Leonard C. and Ruth M. (Becker) Rudisuhle. He is a 1954 graduate of Caledonia High School. Donald dairy farmed on the family farm in Union Township his entire life. He was a member of the American Chestnut Society and sold American Chestnuts from a grove on the farm to nurseries throughout the United States. Donald was an avid reader and enjoyed military history. He was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Caledonia.
Survivors include one sister, Linda Eastman and husband, Wynne Calvert of Iowa City, Iowa; two nieces; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, Caledonia. Rev. Tom Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Johnís Ev. Lutheran Church, Union Ridge Cemetery Association, or Caledonia Care & Rehab. Haugen-Roble-Jandt Funeral Home, Caledonia, is in charge of arrangements.
