Catherine Storlie
Catherine Ann Storlie, 65, of Spring Grove, died Sunday, January 8 while surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer.
She was born August 29, 1946 to Norman and Madonna Hovde, in LeRoy, Minn. Cathy was baptized and confirmed at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in LeRoy and was reconfirmed into the Lutheran Faith at the time of her marriage.
Cathy spent her life loving and taking care of her family. We are thankful for her generous love and unwavering commitment throughout the years – she will be greatly missed.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 44 years Leslie; daughter Sharon Padilla of San Antonio, Tex. and her children Jackie (Aaron) Tadewald of Winona, Danielle Storlie of Spring Grove, Cameron, Alyisha, Micheal Padilla of San Antonio, Tex.; and son Steve (Allison) Storlie of New Hope, Minn.; and his children Natalie, Ashley and Noah Storlie. She was also blessed with a great-grandaughter Katelynn Tadewald and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Nathan Storlie.
Memorial services will be held Thurs. January 12, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call Wed. from 5-7 p.m. at Roble Funeral Home in Spring Grove, and one hour prior to services at the church.
