The Caledonia/Houston/Spring Grove gymnastic team took advantage of the two-week layoff to get a little healthier. While they lost to a good La Crescent team 126.225 to 113.425 last Thursday in La Crescent, coach Jackie Johnson did report some of her injured tumblers are now back in action.

“We managed to get a few girls back from injury with the two-week break we had off from meets, Johnson noted.  “But we have a few girls from JV stepping up to the varsity level to fill the open spots. That leaves us short for the JV team. We didn’t have anyone for vault on JV and competed short on all the events.
