The Warriors got a pair of 40s from Hunter Rud and Devin Schiltz, Joey Ehlers shot 42, Evan Welscher shot a 44, Carter Mann shot a 45 and Justin Inglett shot 46 for the varsity.

Tuesday the Warriors played again at home against Kingsland and defeated the Knights by 33 strokes.
“Again, the boys shot a great score of 170,” Leis noted.

Zach Sannes had the low round with a 47, Cole Konkel and Jamie Lenning both shot 52s, Cody Breeser shot 55, Stemper shot 57, Jacob Lenning shot 61,

Lancers 179, Warriors 189
“On Thursday we played at Valley High against La Crescent,” Leis said. “The varsity shot 189. It was a struggle as that golf course is different than MaCal. We are going to work harder on managing our games and trying to stay on the correct side of the hole to make it a little easier on us.
“We need to be able to take our games on the road, we will work hard every week and work to make this happen,” the coach added.
Ehlers shot a 46 Rud had a 47 Schiltz, Welscher and Mann all had 48s and Inglett shot a 53.
The junior varsity also struggled at Valley High, as they shot 235.
Zach Gavin shot 53, Isaac Solum shot 59, Cole Konkel shot 61, Aaron Goetting shot 62, Zach Sannes shot 64 and Zach Raines shot 71.
“We had 17 different kids compete last week in meets. That is huge for our program to get more experience and for some, to get on the course for the first time in competition,” Leis stated.
