Reader interested in snake stories
To the Editor:
Since I was the person referred to in John Weiss’s rattlesnake article I thought the reader might like to know that rattlesnake bites were quite common in settlement time. See: http://homepages.dordt.edu/~mahaffy/rattle/deaths/MN/Minnesota_fatalities_rv2.pdf
I would appreciate knowing of any other fatalities the reader may know of or old accounts that mention massasauga. Some of these old accounts are hard to find
