The Caledonia girls soccer team wrapped up a brutal schedule Sept. 27 as they lost 2-1 to Dover-Eyota in overtime on parent’s night. The Warriors played seven games in 10 days and lost four of their last five games by close scores.
Sam Colleran scored in the 26th minute Thursday night to put the Warriors up 1-0, but the Eagles got a goal from Maddy Huizinga in the second half and the game-winner from Krista Horn in the second overtime to give D-E the win.
Caledonia lost to Kasson-Mantorville 1-0 Sept. 21 at home despite losing three players to injury. The next day the Warriors, missing four players to injury, lost at Byron 5-0. Caledonia will end the regular season Thursday at P-E-M.
