To the Editor:
Why doesn’t the Houston City Council publish the minutes of all the meetings in The Banner?
The citizens should be informed of all their meetings. The project south of Houston should be on the ballot in the fall election. The DNR, a Lanesboro person or the dreams of one person should not influence the project. Houston taxpayers’ money is being used, and they should be the only people to decide how it is used.
The council did an excellent job of concealing this project from the citizens.
Presently in South Park a sign says “any vehicles using the trails will be towed away at owner’s expense and also a $200 fine.” Also, large boulders prevent using a large area. What is the reason for this?
