The Caledonia boys soccer team dropped two games to end the regular season, losing to Byron at home Oct. 1 and at Kasson-Mantorville Saturday.

The Warriors dropped a 7-1 decision to Byron as the Bears (11-4-1) won for the eighth time in their last 10 games. Caledonia coach Dustin Moburg said, “Both teams played with a lot of heart. This was an aggressive and hard fought game despite what the score line says.”

On Saturday the Warriors (1-10-1) fell to Kasson-Mantorville 2-0. “We controlled the tempo of the game but got unlucky on a low, slow roller and a well-placed shot.”

The Warriors took on #1 seeded Rochester Lourdes Tuesday night in the first round of the class A, section 1 tournament.
