Facebook voting can help local nonprofits
Merchants Bank is reaching out to nonprofit organizations in the areas served by our banks for Merchants Bank’s “Growing Community” $10,000 Facebook giveaway. More than 30 organizations will have the opportunity to get a share of the giveaway through the number of votes placed for the organization through the Merchants Bank Facebook page at www.facebook.com/MerchantsBank.
“We’re excited for the organizations taking part, and we hope that their fans will support them through liking and sharing the information,” Mark Metzler, media and communications officer at Merchants, said. “We hope that this is something that the response will encourage us to do every year.”
Anyone will be able to vote for the participating organizations up to three times a day. The “Growing Community” giveaway started Nov. 5 and ends Dec. 15.
