The 6th Annual Bud Marnach Little League Tournament has come and gone. The event requires a great degree of coordination and volunteerism on the part of Caledonia baseball fans, who step forward each year to help in the name of this great American game. Literally hundreds of kids – 345 to be exact – descended into Caledonia to sharpen their skills against teams from three states. Towns who brought teams included New Albin, Lansing, Caledonia, La Crescent, Spring Grove, Goodview, Onalaska, Brice Prairie, West Salem and Holmen. Forty-seven games were played and six champions emerged, inlcuding:

Pee Wees – Caledonia Green

Nine and under – Goodview; 10 and under – Caledonia; 10 and under softball – Caledonia; 12 and under – Spring Grove; 14 and under – Goodview.
