Thanks for the Round Up grant
To the Editor:
The staff and students of Bluff Country Learning Center are immensely thankful for the generous Round Up grant award that will be used to support positive recognition opportunities for students.
We are honored and grateful that the TEC Operation Round Up Board recognizes the importance of our efforts to encourage and support the positive choices made by our young people. It is through these opportunities that students hear the message, “We value your positive choices.”
We would encourage all members of the Tri-County Electrical Cooperative to join Operation Round UP, a voluntary community support program that helps local organizations and worthy causes via spare change.
TEC members can choose to have their monthly electric bills rounded up to the nearest dollar, with the exceeding cents going toward Operation Round Up. All contributions are tax deductible.
The program is voluntary. If you join, your monthly electric bill will be rounded up to the nearest dollar and the remaining cents will go toward Operation Round Up. The average annual contribution from a cooperative member is $6. The most a member could contribute is $11.88 (99¢ a month).
Our thanks also go out to all Tri-County Cooperative Round Up members as well. Your thoughtfulness and donations have gone on to demonstrate to the Bluff Country Learning Center students that the greater community recognizes their positive efforts. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
