A tough, 1-0 overtime loss to P-E-M ended the Caledonia/Houston/Spring Grove girls soccer season Oct. 8 at Plainview. It was the second loss to the Bulldogs in five days after P-E-M beat the Warriors 4-1 Oct. 3. The team ends the season with a 5-8-1 overall record. “We just couldn’t get the ball to bounce our way,” said Tim Colleran, who wraps up his first season as head coach after the loss.
The Warriors will say goodbye to six seniors, including Krissy Kirchner, Hannah Felten, Taylor Augedahl, Haley Halverson, Abby Wruck and Becca Roble. But Colleran is excited about the next season as 16 players are expected to return.
