Lenser_then_webLenser _now_webIvan Michael “Mike” Lenser, 63, of Caledonia, Minn., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Benedictine Manor in La Crosse.

He was born Jan. 1, 1950, in La Crosse, to Scott and Lucille (Groskopf) Lenser. Mike was a 1968 graduate of West Salem High School. He is a veteran of the United States Army having served from 1967 until 1970. On Oct. 22, 1983, he married Shirlee (Zaiger) Kuecker. Mike worked as a carpenter in the Caledonia area for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Shirlee of Caledonia; three children, Sam (Tonya) Lenser, Texas; Bob Kuecker, Caledonia, and Lori Kuecker, La Crosse; one special granddaughter, Heather Kuecker (Ryan Deicher), La Crosse; one sister, Eva (Wayne) Scafe, Holmen, Wis.; two brothers, Russel Lenser, Chaseburg, Wis. and Harold (Jean) Lenser, Miami, Fla.; and one sister-in-law, Maria Lenser, French Island, Wis.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ada Lenser; and one brother, Gordon Lenser.

A private family graveside service will be at Calvary Cemetery, Caledonia. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date at the American Legion Club in Caledonia.
