NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING PERMIT
CITY OF CALEDONIA, MN
The City Council, acting as the Board of Appeals, of the City Of Caledonia, will hold a public hearing at 6:15 p.m. Monday, November 25, 2013, in the Council Room, City Hall, 231 East Main Street, to consider a Zoning Application submitted by Caledonia Haulers, 320 Highway 44/76, proposing to install a new business sign to be located approximately 13 from the east (front) property line.
The legal descriptions for these parcels are as follows:
Commencing at a point on the north line of the Southwest Quarter of Section 13, Township One Hundred Two North, Range 6 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, said point being 664 feet West of the center of said Section 13 and on the West right of way line of Minnesota State Truck Highway No. 44 as now located, running thence West along said North line of said Southwest Quarter of said Section 13 a distance of 664 feet to the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 13, thence South along the West line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad Company, thence East along said North right of way line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad Company, thence East along said North railroad right of way line a distance of 523 feet to the West right of way line of Minnesota State Trunk Highway No. 44, thence Northeasterly along said West highway right of way line to the point of beginning, containing 6.0 acres, more or less, and being all that part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 13, lying North of said railroad right of way and West of said truck highway.
This proposal requires consideration of the following variance:
1. A 117 setback variance from the east (front) property line.
