Lorraine Hingsberger

LorraineHingsberger_webLorraine Cecelia Hingsberger passed away Jan. 23, 2014 with her family by her side following a lengthy illness.

Lorraine was born in Caledonia Minn. on Aug. 11, 1921, to Herbert and Clara Noel. Lorraine was the oldest of three children; her only surviving brother is Gerald (Rita) Noel of Caledonia.

After graduating from Caledonia High School, Lorraine worked during World War II in the defense industry where she met and married Clarence (Whitey) Hingsberger in 1946 and shared his life for over 52 years in Idaho Falls and later in Eagle, Idaho.

Lorraine was a devoted and loving wife and mother to her seven children: Judy (Jim) McNair, Escondido, Calif.; Kay Kennedy, Rogers, Ark.; Gene (Ginny) Hingsberger, Lakewood, Wash.; Lynn Hingsberger, Eagle; Gary (Leann) Hingsberger, Eagle; Carol (Troy) Lewis, Eagle; and Lisa Massie, Eagle.  Lorraine also has 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister.

Viewing will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 6300 N. Meridian Rd. in Meridian, Idaho followed by a Funeral Mass at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Dry Creek Cemetery.
