To the Editor:
To the City Council of Caledonia, I don’t live in Caledonia, but I visit often since I married into a local family.
I see these reports of denying the acceptance of technology into the community with the cellphone tower ban and wonder if all of the options have been explored. There are many communities around this great country that allow these cell sites to be built into the steeples of local churches as an option.
May I suggest looking into this further?
A simple internet search for “Cellphone towers in church steeples” provides a number of articles, news stories and names of those cities who have adopted these technologies into their communities…not to mention how the money could help the local churches.
Just a suggestion-
After all, what do you have to lose by at least exploring the options?
