Warrior girls begin tournament play Thursday at P-E-M

The Caledonia girls ended the regular season with a 69-55 non-conference loss to the La Crosse Logan Rangers Saturday night.

The loss dropped the Warriors record to 8-17 as they lost seven of their final eight games of the season. Logan got 20 points from Rachel Rank, 14 from Alexis Stitka and 13 points each from Macy Hembd and Kassie Hansen in the win, as the Rangers (13-8) led 37-27 at the break and cruised to the win.

Maria Schroeder led the Warriors with 20 points and Sam Schroeder added an even dozen for Caledonia, who now turn their attention to the MSHSL tournament where they will play at Plainview-Elgin-Millville Thursday night. The Warriors are the #7 seed in the bracket, with P-E-M earning the #2 seed.
